Egon Schiele

Gallery is updated!!  This week is a selection of one of my all time fAvorite artists, Egon Schiele (1890-1918).  A student of Gustav Klimt, his work is known for being grotesque, erotic, pornographic, and disturbing (aka amazing).  His life was controversial and short.  Dead at 28 from Spanish flu, Egon ‘s life has inspired countless essays, theatrical production and the biogrphical film Excess and Punishment.
